Welcome to Hotel Ginebra. These Terms & Conditions govern all reservations, bookings, stays, and use of our services. By making a reservation and staying at the hotel, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Reservations

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by the hotel.
Guests must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking. The hotel reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations containing false, misleading, or incomplete information.
A valid credit or debit card is required to guarantee all reservations.

2. Rates and Currency

All rates displayed on our website and booking engine are quoted in Euros (€).
Rates include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. Any local taxes not included in the room rate will be clearly indicated during the booking process.
The hotel reserves the right to modify rates at any time. Confirmed reservations will be honoured at the rate confirmed at the time of booking.

3. Payment

Payment terms vary depending on the selected rate plan.
For prepaid reservations, full payment may be charged at the time of booking.
For flexible rates, payment is due upon arrival at the hotel.
The hotel accepts major credit and debit cards and cash payments in Euros (€).
The credit or debit card provided at the time of booking may be pre-authorised prior to arrival to verify its validity and guarantee the reservation.

4. Cancellation and Modification Policy

Cancellation and modification conditions vary depending on the selected rate, package, and booking dates.
Please refer to the cancellation policy displayed in our booking engine at the time of booking. The applicable cancellation and modification terms will be clearly presented before your reservation is confirmed.
Reservations cancelled after the applicable cancellation deadline will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
Any modification requested after the cancellation deadline will be treated as a cancellation and rebooking and will result in charges equal to the full reservation amount.

5. No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to arrive on the scheduled arrival date without prior notification will be considered a no-show.
In the event of a no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged.
The hotel reserves the right to release the room for resale following a no-show.

6. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in: 14:00 (2:00 PM)
Check-out: 11:30 AM
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Guests may be required to present valid government-issued identification and the payment card used to secure the reservation upon arrival.

7. Tourist Tax

In accordance with local regulations, a tourist tax is payable by guests upon arrival at the hotel.
The current tourist tax is €7.70 per person, per night and is not included in the room rate unless expressly stated otherwise.
The tourist tax is established by local authorities and may be amended at any time. Any revised amount imposed by the authorities shall apply automatically.
Payment of the tourist tax is due at check-in.

8. Guest Registration

In accordance with Spanish legislation, all guests, including minors, must present valid identification upon arrival and complete the mandatory guest registration process.
Failure to provide the required documentation may result in refusal of accommodation.

9. Occupancy and Use of Rooms

Rooms may only be occupied by the number of guests stated in the reservation.
Visitors who are not registered guests may be subject to restrictions or additional charges.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation or terminate a stay without refund where occupancy limits are exceeded or hotel policies are breached.

10. Children

Children aged 3 years and above are welcome at the hotel.
Children under 3 years of age are not accommodated.
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.

11. Pets

Pets are not allowed anywhere on the hotel premises.

12. Accessibility

The hotel is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users, due to the building layout and lack of adapted facilities.
Guests with accessibility requirements are advised to carefully consider the suitability of the accommodation prior to booking and may wish to select accommodation specifically designed to meet accessibility needs.

13. Strictly Non-Smoking Hotel

Hotel Ginebra operates a strict non-smoking policy throughout the entire property, including all guest rooms, balconies, and indoor and outdoor public areas.
Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes and vaping devices, is strictly prohibited.
A cleaning, deodorisation, and damage fee may be charged in the event of a violation of this policy.

14. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, staff, and hotel property.
The hotel reserves the right to refuse service, remove guests from the premises, or terminate a stay without refund in cases of abusive behaviour, excessive noise, unlawful activities, property damage, or any conduct that disturbs other guests.

15. Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property by themselves, their visitors, or persons under their care.
The hotel reserves the right to charge the guest for repair, replacement, cleaning, or related costs arising from such damage.

16. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings.
The hotel shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Guests are encouraged to use any in-room safe or secure storage facilities provided by the hotel.

17. Lost and Found

Items found on hotel premises will be retained for a reasonable period in accordance with hotel procedures.
Where possible, the hotel will attempt to contact the owner. Any shipping or handling costs associated with returning lost items shall be borne by the guest.

18. Force Majeure

The hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, pandemics, utility failures, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.

19. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during reservations and stays will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

20. Website Accuracy

While every effort is made to ensure that information on the website is accurate and up to date, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.
The hotel reserves the right to correct inaccuracies, pricing errors, or technical mistakes and to cancel reservations affected by such errors where permitted by law.

21. Right to Refuse or Cancel Reservations

The hotel reserves the right to refuse, modify, or cancel reservations where necessary due to operational requirements, force majeure events, suspected fraud, payment issues, safety concerns, or breaches of these Terms & Conditions.
The hotel further reserves the right to refuse admission or accommodation, including to guests holding a confirmed reservation, where a guest:
Fails to provide valid identification or complete the required registration process
Fails to provide a valid payment method where required
Appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs to a degree that may affect safety, comfort, or wellbeing
Acts in a threatening, abusive, disruptive, or inappropriate manner
Presents a risk to the safety, security, reputation, or operation of the hotel
In such circumstances, the hotel may cancel the reservation and apply cancellation charges in accordance with the applicable booking conditions.

22. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Spain.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
