Hotel Ginebra is right on Plaça de Catalunya, at the corner of Rambla de Catalunya and Ronda Universitat. Step outside and you are already in the centre of Barcelona, with many of the city’s best-known places within walking distance.
Walk up Rambla de Catalunya and you’ll find cafés, restaurants and shops, with Passeig de Gràcia running alongside it. Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are an easy walk from the hotel.
Head across Plaça de Catalunya and you are at the top of La Rambla, leading towards La Boqueria market and the waterfront. The Gothic Quarter, Barcelona Cathedral and Portal de l’Àngel are also just a short walk away.
Continue down La Rambla and you can walk all the way to the Columbus Monument and Barcelona’s old harbour. From there, the waterfront continues towards Barceloneta and the Mediterranean.
